This book has some familiar elements to it and also a creative look inside the author's unique mind. The main characters have been developed into likeable heroes, mysterious players pulling strings and power hungry villains. The world has a strange quality where unmarked people appear from nowhere only to get thrown into bondage and slavery. These unmarked seem to be wild cards separate from the people of the world that the God's use as their weapons. These unmarked seem to be able to work outside of normal rules and may become very important in shaping the fate of this world as the realms merge together. A fantasy tale with a cool storyline . Merging Realms has characters you want to root for. I usually give a book 4-5 chapters to draw me in. Had me in two. This book is hard to put down. Can't wait for more stories from author S.K. Smith.
This one is a page turner. The author catches your interest in chapter 1 and sucks you in by chapter 2. An easy read and follow the reader will enjoy the twists and turns along the way. There are some grammar and typo issues, but that will not diminish the reader from continuing on. Looking forward to the next book. Enjoy!
